Hi all! This week I was inspired by this tweet to participate in the books-as-outfit trend! Putting together these book cover inspired outfits was a fun challenge to fill some quarantine down time. I would encourage you all to try this out yourselves, I’d love to see the results!

I *love* the colors on the cover of Salman Rushdie’s Quichotte, so I knew I wanted to build an outfit around this magical realistic 2019 release.
Frankenstein is one of my favorite classics ever. While there are so many great editions of Frankenstein, I have the Norton one that I used in a class. While less gothic than other Frankenstein covers, I love the icy blues and sublime imagery on this one.
Cozy sweaters are best clothes to wear while reading! Especially if you’re reading a cozy, feel-good graphic novel like Bryan Lee O’Malley’s Seconds.
Normal People is one of my most recent purchased and read novels. I’ve always loved this simple blue and green cover, and thought it would translate nicely into an outfit.
While Jennifer Egan’s A Visit frrom the Goon Squad was just an average read for me, I couldn’t resist pairing it with this perfectly matched dress!
Let me know what your favorite outfit was in the comments below! 🙂

Love this idea! Great outfits 🙂
